Using RPA to eliminate manual processes

A supplier to the automotive industry had an issue with a high volume of scrap material coming from production lines and resulting in high costs. Due to the fact that they could only input data into the production line console manually, it was impossible to integrate raw material data into the production process in real time. A new user interface was created to collect raw material from various sources. If a new batch of raw material is detected, GUI master reconfigures the parameters of the production line to match the specification of raw material. With GUI master, the volume of scrap material has been reduced by 90%, saving roughly EURO 45k monthly. Project payback was achieved within the first 3 months of full production.
